Morning all: I did my first real overnight charging yesterday and woke up to this:

Looking at my Ford App and the linked Charge Station Pro App, I found it charged 64% which is expected since I set to charge no more that 92%. (Will change this to 90% per manual)
Everything looked good but when I looked at the details, I had 88 events. Is this normal?
The images are the summary from the Ford App and the other two images are the first and last page of detailed events from the Charge Station Pro App, under “Insights”.
I did not use SunRun but used a local electrician. Looking to see if this is normal.

We know some of our customers using the Charge Station Pro are getting error messages on FordPass while charging. We plan to push an over-the-air (OTA) update in the coming days to rectify the issue. To ensure this OTA update is successful, customers should ensure their Charge Station Pro is connected to their home WiFi.

Customers can continue to use their Charge Station Pro in the meantime. Thanks for flagging with us and for your patience while we get the OTA update out to your charger.

@Ford Motor Company what about those of us who have a CSP that won’t even connect to wifi? How will those be fixed
This another reason every one of these types of large, fixed networked devices like Charge Station Pro and water heaters should have an Ethernet port and the ability to be wired into the network. Wireless can be flaky in places where these are typically installed.

I agree wholeheartedly. And in the case of my network, I know that our network/location is not to blame. We have strong signal and other Wi-Fi devices in the garage getting strong signal as well. If I take my cell phone, iPad, switch, even my laptop into the garage (even sitting in my truck) I am picking up not only my home network but several other home networks in my area. The charge station pro? Won’t pick up any of those. In the set up it instantly goes to no networks available.

even when I downrated it, it still gave off a ton of faults before it finally just stopped charging the truck. So how does an OTA fix solve my problem? I truly believe I got a faulty device. And I get it this is the price you pay for wanting to be an early adopter cutting edge technology. But I’m just saying, FoMoCo? You guys need to have a plan in place for those of us whose devices won’t even connect to the Internet.
