Temporary neutral hold. Pages 228-229 of the manual.
@GoGoGadgetTruck notes. It is if you need the truck to be in Neutral and get out of it - like a car wash. I believe you have to press it twice. Consult the manual for sure.

If it's like the 2022 F-150 there's also a setting in the menu to turn off the Brake Assist. If you go through a car wash, you'll either need to turn off the brake assist, or use that button.

the OP brings up a good point, though - few dealers and their employees know much of ANYTHING about the LIGHTNING - we already know more than they do. I may have to show my own salesman about the truck.

I certainly knew more about it than the dealer. I also had to educate them on the Charge station that comes with the ER. They thought the plug that comes in the Frunk was the Charge Station Pro. Contacted SunRun...they are looking into it. I left with no real answer on how and when I will get the Charge Station Pro.

I received an email from Ford Charging Canada on May 30 that my f 150 lightning is coming and if I want the station ahead of time then let them know and they will ship it at no cost. This way I can have it installed before the truck arrives. I placed the order and received an order number and said would ship it out and will notify me when it does ship. The order summery did in fact say $0.00 owing. Its June 8th and have not heard anything yet. From what I understand it does not ship with the truck.
I live in Canada so I will keep you all posted, hope to see it soon.

CHARGER UPDATE - Just talked to Ford, there is a delay. An email went to dealerships this morning with steps to take to get the chargers and it sounds like there is a small compensation for those like myself that have the truck and no charger.

So far it is a total love. The only thing I am trying to figure out is a clunking sounds coming from the front. i think it is the plastic cover over the charger storage in the Frunk. It is loose and has no rubber, so plastic on plastic. I hear it on acceleration after a hard stop and while turning.

If it's like the design of the Mach E, there is a transmission of sorts with a parking pawl. In the Mach E it is built into the main (rear) drive unit.

Ford's online vehicle sales model couldn't come soon enough. The only real value a dealership provides is servicing our vehicles but even that wears off as we come across reputable independent shops.
Thanks. I guessed that N had something to do with neutral and the clock had so.ething to do withtime, but that was ass far as I got.
