Well I finally got my wish and got confirmation on being able to get one of the first 2022 F150 lightning pick up trucks but
I only have about 12 hours left to finalize my order with all the options colors etc. is there any input anyone can give me on any of the options that doesn’t already come with the standard battery lariat

other than all the ones that I can buy aftermarket for half the price ( Bedliners etc. )
I mean the safe box was a no-brainer to me

my biggest problem is the color of the actual truck
I don’t quite understand why I’m only allowed to accept black interior
where I see some of these trucks on this site have some gray middle material with black outside the seats
On some of the models

but as far as the exterior colors

I’ve always been a blue vehicle Nut
when it came to colors

but also I’ve done red in sports cars that I’ve had in the past
the antimatter blue metallic appeals most to me in the darker blues and the rapid red metallic is something I’m also considering but
this new ice blue silver has really call My eye and I’m really trying to find the best place to see all these different colors in some sort of real world atmosphere in pictures that is

is this site going to be the best site to see those TRUE colors as it seems to be the best that I’ve seen so far

has anybody seen the rapid red metallic because all the pictures seem to show it more as a burgundy than as a red

And the antimatter blue metallic versus the Atlas blue metallic seems to be just one darker than the other close to the navy blue in the antimatter blue metallic

But again this ice blue metallic
I’m told they’ve never had this color in any other models that it’s a brand new color

I’d love to know if anyone’s actually seen it in person???

any suggestions would be wonderful thanks so much

Welcome to the forum Charles! Black is the only interior option you can get, but it's not a pure black which is what you've seen in photos.

Antimatter Blue is the darker blue compared to Atlas Blue, so if you want something dark then go with Antimatter.

Ice Blue Metallic is available on the Mach-E and Escape, so it's not an exclusive Lightning color. But it is a newer color to Ford.

To me Rapid Red doesn't look burgundy, in the sun it looks like a proper red to me.

Welcome to the forum Charles! Black is the only interior option you can get, but it's not a pure black which is what you've seen in photos.

Antimatter Blue is the darker blue compared to Atlas Blue, so if you want something dark then go with Antimatter.

Ice Blue Metallic is available on the Mach-E and Escape, so it's not an exclusive Lightning color. But it is a newer color to Ford.

To me Rapid Red doesn't look burgundy, in the sun it looks like a proper red to me.

I took delivery of mine last Friday 6/17. I got my ”built email” almost two weeks before that, and no updated until the morning of 6/16 when my dealer said the shipping email came through and it was at the dealership in south central KY at 6:00 PM on 6/16. Really good experience with the dealership and really impressed with the truck even after knowing all there is to know. Cost me $1.60 to drive it to and from work, including an 8 mile round trip lunch. The iced blue looks great, so hard to tell from picture/video but I couldn’t be happier with my color choice.

These are photos of my iced blue silver lightning and I’m telling you, its hard to see how good this color looks in a picture. 90% of the pictures and videos of the iced blue silver trucks you see on the internet, make it look grey. The dealer even sent me 3 pictures of my truck after they got it prepped and it looked totally silver in everyone of them…I really like it though and you can really see the blue in person, pictures don’t do it justice.
