Dealer just submitted my order for my Lariat 511A ER Antimatter Blue…so excited! He indicated that it may be 6-7 months before delivery, and had to delete heated steering wheel and security system due to parts availability. Anybody else experiencing this?
Prior to my 33 year career with GM as an Engineer, I had been a loyal Ford guy with a total of 13 Mustangs (65-69). Glad to return to the fold!

Welcome! Good luck with the waiting game. It will be frustrating.

Yes, those feature deletes are standard right now due to parts shortages. There are posts on those here on the Forum.

You may be surprised. When the dealer submitted mine, the next day I was given a production week start and that was only 1 month later. That would mean there is a chance you could get it within 2 months from that day. Some have even received theirs less than 1 month after the production start date. 🤞 Yes, the heated steering is currently removed along with the bed scales. There are some indicators the heated wheel can be added on in the future. The security system seems to be hit or miss also or has been removed for quite some time already.

Thanks for the welcome and helpful advice. Looking forward to poking around the site to see what’s going on. Huge paradigm shift, but excited to be part of it. Can’t go wrong!
Welcome, glad to see you’re on the forum. I’ve found a lot of good info here. Checkout the dash cam thread. I installed one per their recommendations and it’s been fun on our road trips.

Wow 6-7 months? I am in PA I ordered my Lariat on 11/15 - went to production on 12/14 and Shipped on 1/2! I should see it this week, perhaps the dealer was basing their estimate on earlier runs when they were not “in the groove”.
