I have found the software glitchy also, my experiences have been, seems to me some of this was after some over the air updates but could be wrong.
1.one day heated steering wheel would not heat in 1 hour drive, next time I started truck worked fine, was only time this happened and it was off when truck originally started but would not heat.
2. my apple phone has some serious issues with this infotainment system, 50 percent time it is so staticky I have to stitch my phone to its own speaker to solve the issue so i can talk to the person, not hands free solution. This one is my biggest frustration and my phone has and does work with all other vehicles and several are fords just fine.
3. very slow going from one system to another like nav to radio, sometimes makes a cracking noise as it is doing the transition
4. not infotainment but still have my rumble at specific speeds and it is 100 percent not tire balance as it almost 98 percent goes away in sport mode and other days in normal mode does not do this, i am taking in but hoping to wait just a bit so maybe ford techs get more time to tinker on other trucks like yours.
