I have .mp3 and .wma and they play. The stick is a USB-A stick in the USB-C port with adapter (the A is powering a dashcam) but it worked from the A as well. It's the top port here:Does the MME paly flac files, or are mp3 required?
It's an ancient 16 GB PNY formatted as FAT32.
There was talk on a Mach-E forum around playlists etc. but I just have song files in folders.

Did the mention if the max towing package took the EPA rating down from 320 to 300? And why were we all under the impression the EPA rating accounted for 1000lb load?
- Lightning not affected by chip shortage, unlike gas powered
- EPA rating doesn't include 1000 lb load
- Max towing package - doubles the cooling for the motor and the battery
- All Lightnings have a push button start
- You can take it through a car wash, but not flat towable. There is an online guide for all ford vehicles about flat towable
- Lightning does not feature mood lighting. Lariat and Platinum only have blue ambient lighting, no changing it
- Lariat is two toned interior, black with medium dark slate
- Pro trim doesn't have CC but curve control, LK alert and LK Aid

- Yep no on the media playing, but I think this is because of the android stack system, they don't want to bother doing it themselves IMO

- No, the signature lighting doesn't offer indication to the charging, just the charge port like in the Mach E

What is L2? What is an EVSE?Dual onboard charger is a feature included with the extended range battery. That allows for faster charging on the Ford Charge Station Pro -- up to 80A. Effectively there are dual 48A chargers. This is why L2 charging time is longer for the ER than the SR battery on EVSEs with 48A or lower charge rate, but shorter for the ER than the SR on the Ford Charge Station Pro.

As for the range drop for the Platinum he just said equipment without being specific. The Max tow package is shown equipped on Lariats that hit 320. So that package isn't responsible for the 20 mile drop for the Platinum. I'm still going with the wheel size difference.

Ford's claim of the largest charger market is them combining all of their dealerships and probably EA (cause you get so many KWs of charge free from them). It is a mix of DC fast chargers and mostly L2 chargers.
You can't use Tesla Superchargers, but Tesla L2 chargers can be utilized if you have an adapter: TeslaTap MINI 80 AMP

After doing more research, I can't find anything conclusive but your theory seems to be the most accurate. The wheel size seems to be keeping the range down. The platinum leather is nice but to pay more for the wheels and get less range (tires are more expensive too) seems to far outweigh the nicer leather of the platinum vs the lariat debate, but to each their own.No, just that the EPA isn't with the load.

and the button for it being hidden in the "app drawer" (for others - the button that's in the top center of the screen, with the profile picture), a place that doesn't appear to be documented in either of the Mach-E manuals, doesn't really help any either.
you can I think do "play USB" as a voice command but I haven't tried that specific command in a while so I could be wrong.
Ah ok, I'll try and remember that. At this point I'm just use to poking away at android auto.yeah, this is one of the few things I regularly use the voice commands for - "play artist [whatever]" "play song [whatever]".

That backup start code is the bomb and you set it yourself. P 72/73 of the manual. If you don't have a phone or fob, use the keypad on the door to get in and then your code on the screen and you can start the truck with no other device.Tonight at 9pm est

⮑Moderator: It that is your charge source and you've set the schedule departure time by using the departure and comfort setting to pre condition and you're plugged in you should be able to pre-condition your Lightning.

⮑Moderator: The rear normal view, bed camera view, hitch view and trailer auxiliary view are available when your vehicle speed is greater than 6 mph. The 360 degree camera system turns off when your vehicle is traveling at low speed, except when in reverse.
