Generator for charging

Anyone know if you can use a generator to charge the lightning?
I would think so. I have a small 4k watt running on propane.

Absolutely just select the proper level 2 charger to plug into the generator to not overload it. For instance don't wire up a 6kW Level 2 charger to a 4kW generator.
