I'm picking up a 2022 Lariat today. Apologies that I didn't search heavily yet on the threads and I'm sure these questions have been answered before. I had a plug in Prius over 10 years ago with a Bosch charging station (gave the Bosch to a friend).

1. Which charging option should I get for my garage? The Ford Connected Charge Station, Ford Charge Station Pro, or just the 240v Mobile Power Cord, speaking of, does this come with the vehicle? And will the 240v cord plug into a standard 240v dryer outlet? Our electrical panel is at the end of our garage so in an optimal location I think and the dryer is just a few feet beyond that.
2. I'm using the Ford 'find a charging station' tool on the website and some stations show 'Free' charging. What does 'Free' mean?
3. My friend has a Tesla and says the Ford cannot charge at Tesla charging stations. Is there some sort of adapter the Ford can use?

If you are just getting started, there are best practices for installing chargers and outlets that are coming together.

Just watched this great video you should watch before doing hiring someone to do your install.

I was a first time EV owner when I got mine. Spending hours and hours ahead of time searching forums and watching YouTube has helped me tremendously to understand battery care, charging setup that’s best for me, tech in the trucks, etc. Highly recommend putting in the time — well worth it!
