News coverage this week of a pickup driver trying to unplug a Tesla while it was charging at our local carpool. Owner was napping in backseat. Tesla camera filmed it but cut out when guy realized owner was there and took off.

I see it at my local Ford dealer sometimes. I don't care to understand their logic for doing it (cause there isn't any).

Happens at my local Walmart a lot because a couple of the chargers are up close to the door. Some annoying dude parked his AUDI there. I dont even own an EV yet and I was irritated....

They should make the charging cables long enough that an ev can block the offending vehicle in and plug in.

ICE’d. I’ve seen it a bunch of times. It is very inconsiderate and often done on purpose by ICE drivers that don’t like EVs.

The cord to it is a nice added touch. Has me thinking about how many folks may see our F150s at a charging station from a distance and mistaken them for gas trucks from afar.

Another perspective ... With 10 plus charging stations around this truck this clown shoes stuff isn't worth the time to care. Hey why not consider this one in the family after all it is a Ford Raptor!

Personally I'm more concerned with the idiots out on the road that find it necessary to roll coal near EVs or be aggressive or reckless drivers.

Now that there are lightnings and r1ts out there. Maybe we all should keep a set of tow straps and some soap and water in a spray bottle. Spray down the surface behind their tires, attach tow straps from their tow hitch to yours and gently pull them out of the way. If they are in their truck, politely ask if they will move. If not, kindly move their truck for them. It would would always be best if their is a Chevy bolt, Kona EV, bmw i3 or other small EV plugged in to the spot when the ICEr gets back to their truck.

I still haven't seen that near me but as for aggressive drivers, I can't say it is because I'm in an EV or people just being aggressive. The fun thing about it is that they can't do much about it cause they can't pass me if I don't want them to. Though surprisingly it has been way more people in "normal" vehicles and not trucks.

And in general, I would be considered "aggressive" even though I label it as "purposeful".

Local ordinances should just be passed that if you park in an EV spot and you are not an EV someone can legally stab your tires. Put cameras up to get the licence plate and also send them a ticket that's no less than $500. Of course a lot of these spots are on private property.
