This issue has happened enough times where it’s persistent now. When I open the frunk(key fob or button inside truck) it makes the sound and pops up, but it doesn’t push up and that causes it to stay latched. Once I push it down and open it again, it starts opening on consecutive tries. I’ll have the dealer look at it, but I don’t wanna take the truck for this issue alone. It’s more of an inconvenience right now. It feels like the lift support struts are not strong enough, or they get cold/jammed until they get used once. Does anyone else have this issue?

Hey there! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your frunk concern on my end.

I have the issue that sometimes when I press the Frunk or Tailgate release, I'll get the fanfare but it doesn't open. I press the button and it opens with no fanfare. They are fairly rare events 1 in 100?).

In the case of the frunk, it unlatches but doesn't open like yours. Another press and it opens. I've never had this happen on closing.

In the case of the tailgate, it's just lights and sounds with no unlatching. Another press and it unlatches and opens. The same will sometimes happen when I go to close the tailgate.

Minor annoyance and definitely not worth a trip to the dealer.
