Does anyone know how to enable the mobile apps feature in the Lightning Lariat/Platinum? Mine is greyed out, and I am not sure how to enable it. I tried alexa which tells me I need to enable it, but that option is greyed out.

Honestly not sure what benefit it brings, but would like to understand how to make it work.

Anyone else had and fixed this?

It's not active in the Mustang Mach E either. I really don't know why it's taking up space.

The apps work in a terrible way - the app needs to be compatible with sync 4, then you need to be connected via USB or Bluetooth but not CarPlay…then compatible apps will show up, but to use the app it also needs to be opened on your phone lol it’s a whole whack of unnecessary complexity
