My recent experience is that the TSB23-2050 update does not fix the problem. I also was not notified about it and had to find out when I called the helpline for a second time. When I called my dealer, they didn’t know about the update. After the update, nothing really changed, still having problems.
I thought I would try removing my vehicle from the FordPass app and reinstalling it, now I can’t even reinstall the truck because my lariat shows nothing under the connectivity tab in settings. See my post above.
The good news is, we can all temporarily "fix" it via the negative battery cable or fuse pull; problem is it will happen again.....but at least it is functional. I have 10 mm wrench I keep in my truck for this reason.

This workaround (negative terminal unplugging) works. This happened to me just 4 days after my brand new truck! Took it to the service manager and he also agreed this is a correct way to resolve it. Unplugged the negative on the 12v LVB, counted 30, plugged it back in. Started the truck and let it be on for a few minutes. Restarted the app and then.... Voila! It started working.

Hi, I just wanted to update everyone. I had an appointment today with my Ford Dealer to do the TSB 23-2050 service. When I arrived they informed me that Ford has told dealers to not perform the update TSB 23-2050. They gave me a print out that says "The Ford Technical Assistance center and Engineering are aware of software availability concerns with TSB 23-2050. Do Not perform the TSB until further notice."

My Ford App just suddenly started working again without intervention. History: Feb 28 stopped working completely. Then on March 10, I got an update from Ford Pass for a recharging event I did on March 5, strange things. By March 11, I then got a slew of "backed up" messages and the app was completely updated. I am not holding my breath that this thing does not happen again, but for now, my Ford App and truck are talking again.

Ive had a 2023 bronco for 2 months now and the app has only worked a couple days on and off. It’s been weeks since it’s been able to connect and I’ve tried EVERYTHING! This is a wack ass app!!! The only thing worse than the app is the bronco key fob…. Who the f designed this stuff?!?!?

Well, I installed Charge Station Pro full 80a. Connected the truck and it charges to 100% very fast. All went well….but…
Yep, the app now won’t sync with the truck. So my guess about high power recharge and app sync seems to click thrice with my truck.
