We took a trip in Lightning SR from Ca to az and range was poor due to winds on the I-40. When we called ford roadside they would not bring a mobile charger to us. Instead we had to tow 35 miles out of our way from Laughlin to Needles just to drive back north to Laughlin. That being said, there was a simple fix that their Ford dispatchers keep a secret. We were less than 1 mile from a Ford Dealer which had a level 2 free charger. It was a Sunday so we called the dealer before ford Road Assist and it was closed. However! Come to find out the Dealer charger is open and free 24/7. What a total waste of time. We could have charged right there in front of our face. Instead we used one of our annual tows, I think we get 4? And we wasted a ton of time on our vacation.

Mobile charger? They didn't bring one to you? Do you know if it was an option?
Mobile chargers are a thing (SparkCharge Roadie is one), but they're pretty new, expensive, and not very common.
