Just got an email telling me my truck is no longer connected to my Ford pass account. There is a link telling me to log on??
I checked my app and I can see my truck and it's staus.
Looks like a phishing scam!

Thanks Stan! If you hover your cursor over any of the links, does a '.ru' or anything not familiar pop up on the link? The Ford Pass website should come up as 'https://,' the "s" (secured website) being the most important part (you may already know that, but for others...)

I checked the source email ( [email protected]-fordpass.com ) does not look legit to me?

I would suggest just opening your Ford Pass App and make sure you can still lock/unlock doors.
I just checked my email and have no old emails from FordPass, but I did have some from FordPass Rewards. Their address was "[email protected]' which looks to be the same format as the reply address that you showed.

I'd ignore the email. If it really is legit, you'll get another.... I'm suspicious about all emails and phone calls nowadays.

It looks legit to me. A Phishing scam would have you click a link or do something that could intercept information. Instead, they are telling you to take action in your app.

What it looks like is something that may have been auto-generated due to an action you took but the message may have been delayed.

Did you ever do a reset in the truck or remove and reconnect a phone? That action may have generated the message that was delivered late.

So my app works fine, locks, start etc. Did not make any changes. Will see if I get another one. I have had 2 F150's with Ford pass never got this before.

Did you happen to sell or trade in another Ford when you got your Lightning? I did that, and had to remove the sold truck from FordPass--then I got this same message about a day later. It was letting me know the older vehicle was disconnected, not the new Lightning. Not sure if that applies here...

You are so right I did trade the old one and had deleted my acct info like a week before I got the email. That must be it. Strange a week before I got the email. Thanks for you thoughts.
