During the most recent Ford's charging livestream a couple of weeks ago they mentioned a couple of things about the Lightning that touched on range and backup power.
For range they mentioned that they're targeting an EPA range of 280 miles for the Platinum. Which was to be expected given all the features and the larger wheels.
They also mentioned that the Ford Intelligent Backup Power requires Sunrun to not just handle the installation but to buy their "home integration system.
