yikes....! Germany auto unions warned that this was incoming, building EVs is much simpler than building ICE. The skillset is VERY different as well, I think we will see a lot more of this happening in the next few years as the transition accelerates.

it looks like they need more hourly hands-on workers, versus management and other related salaried folks... and many of those are likely in Kansas City where Ford makes a majority of it's F150 and similar trucks...

Never good to hear of families losing their good paying jobs so I feel for those facing this loss. I do think we are going to see more of this into 2023 unfortunately with many management employees in many industries as technology replaces people.
