Ford makes it clear that the "Mobile Charging Cord" does come with the Lightning. They also let it be known that the Extended Range Battery will include a "Charge Station Pro". What is the story with the "connected Charge Station" I have been up and down the documents everyone is posting and in and out of the Ford build and price to try to see if is offered or included anywhere. Help me out. I don't see where it was offered with any package or as an option. They include the specs as a charger so I was thinking it was included with the purchase but now I don't think it is.

The Ford Connected Charge Station can be purchased through Ford Parts.

The charger works ok. The biggest problem is it hasn't been very reliable, especially in terms of communications.

The general consensus is there is no good reason to buy this over the ChargePoint Flex.

For some reason I had it in my head that the Lightning came with it and you could upgrade to the pro. I guess it is just best to look into others like the ChargePoint flex.

I have the mobile charger and thePro charger. However I have a problem with my mobile charger quitting charging. Has anyone else had this problem? Our dealer says that a warranty replacement mobile charger is not enen available from Ford as of right now.

For years I told people that Ford branded chargers have a poor track record, and to use them until they break and replace them with a good quality unit.

I am modifying my position on Ford's EVSEs: they are a disaster. Don't buy one if you can avoid it, and don't depend on them if you do have one. Getting stranded at a remote cabin with a flaky mobile cord is not a fun day. Carry a cord made by Tesla, Clipper Creek, or another rock-solid name. If your EVSE has a blue oval on it, it's junk.
