I just got an F150 Lariat with the standard range battery. I'm going to upgrade my home service from 100 amps to 200 amps. My friend who owns a Tesla suggest I find out the max charge of the F150 standard battery and if that would work with the Ford Charging Station Pro. Would the Ford Charging Station Pro be overkill for the standard battery F150? I was looking at the Emporia or Grizzl-e also but having 80 amps with the Ford would be nice for faster charging times.

Yes, unless you are planning to install the full Home Integration System. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend going with the FCSP.

Thanks! So I'll get the 48amp Ford Connected Charge Station instead. Do you know if that needs to be connected to an NEMA 14-50 outlet or could it be hardwired?
I'd recommend it be hard-wired.

You might also look at other good ones like the Chargpoint Home Flex and the Tesla home charger.

On Ford's website, it says the Ford Connected Charging Station only fits the Mach-E and E-Transit?
It should work with any vehicle that uses a J-1772.

Please provide a link to the web page.
