Good thing the Lightning comes with a real spare.

I’ll start figuring out what happened tomorrow. TPMS warning came on and was losing air

Glad I pulled into that farm we were passing. Jimmy who lived there had a floor jack and rechargeable impact hammer. Made that job a lot easier. He even did most of the work! Nice guy!

The zone Lightning is quite handy!

Very nice help. I haven't looked - is there a lock on the spare where you lower it to the ground?

No but there's a lock on the port you use to access the crank mechanism.

Interestingly, the kit includes a folding tire chock!

Perfect and that is the lock I was thinking of. Which key fit it? The same one as the door hidden in the fob or the extra key for the locking storage?

This is a very interesting delimma as when PAAK starts working and becomes very dependable knowing there is a backup code that can be used I was thinking I would not carry a fob. If you need that key for the spare may need an extra to leave in the truck.

You're exactly right. It's the little key in the fob. You should have received a spare with your truck (in addition to the 2 fobs). When PaaK is working, I'll plan to keep that one in the truck. It operates the spare tire lock, the glove box, the front seat storage box, and the back seat lock.

Bad news: damage is too large to be repaired and since it was road hazard it means the warranty doesn't cover it. Just over $300 and I should have a new tire later this week.

Makes me wonder if I should have gone with the all terrain upgrade. :(

Sorry about the flat. Did you get the tire through your dealer?
Yes, I ordered it through them and hope to get it tomorrow.
