I have a Rivian R1T reservation and a Lightning reservation. I bought a Tesla Model 3 new for my wife in 2019. We bought the FSD full self driving upgrade for $6k in Sept 2019 with the promises it would "be available later this year". We still don't have it. Paid for it - haven't received it yet. Anyone with a CT reservation will be sorely disappointed.

My R1T reservation was $1000. That is a serious commitment. That is an amazing truck and they have already started deliveries. A bit smaller than the Lightning, but for my use and in my experience, the F150 is too big (2014 Super Crew FX4 Ecoboost and a 2005 SC).

I placed a reservation on the Lightning because of its ability to backfeed into my house, as we were in the market for a backup generator anyways.

But -- the reason I am here. Has anyone else had their reservation cancelled? I never got a communication from Ford, I only see that I have a "RV01 Kowalski Ford" $100.00 credit on my credit card bill. Looks like a refund to me.

I called the dealership and, of course, got zero info from them.

Ford's chat is closed as is their phone system.

Anytime else seen, heard, or know if this?

I reserved within 3 days of the banks being open and if I have to start over again I'd be seriously in a lurch as my Tacoma lease ends 9/2022.

I have an update about the post I made earlier about my $100 deposit being credited back to my credit card.

1. The dealership was worthless in helping me out with this matter, even though they had at least 10 other people calling with the same question.

2. I called the Lightning hotline and eventually spoke to a human. The rep there told me that "after a certain amount of time deposits on the books get refunded when an order does not get filled."

3. I called my dealership back and let them know what the rep told me. I essentially got a, "why are you calling to bother me with this info" vibe.

4. About two days after speaking with the Lightning reservation person, I got an email from Ford saying that my dealership had been bought out and that the deposit I had for the Lightning was going to be credited to the credit card I used to place my reservation. There email also said that I still have my reservation and that I would not need to resend the $100.00.

I did not contact the dealership with this new info. They can figure it out on their own.

Finally, it is pretty unsettling to think I could lose my reservation spot because the dealership I reserved through was bought by another dealership.
