Decent food at Millers Ale House in sight of those chargers. We arrived at the Avenues Mall EA station:
The Avenues Simon JAX station details
10300 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32256, Jacksonville, Florida 32256
They had a 4 bay charging stations with 150 and 350 KW units. It was also the only EA station around so there was a small line waiting to charge. I believe there was an Audi eTron Wagon, a VW ID4, a BMW (not sure what model) and a Form mustang Mach-e on the chargers.
I met a couple other nice people waiting to charge, Bob with an ID4 and I nice woman with a Hyundai Ionic 5. They explained this is generally a good station but it gets crowded sometimes since it’s the only one around. Another man who drove in from NY arrived in his Ionic 5 and we all had a nice conversation.
We plugged in and it started fast charging - we hit the mall to stretch our legs and charged to 88%. I was not able to determine the max Kwh into the pack because the EA screen would not display it (unusual) and the Truck has the data but it’s not visible to user (come on Ford - lets open that up in an upcoming OTA update!).
Next stop - Cocoa Florida EA station! View attachment 5699
I absolutely agree! Going to suggest that to my contacts at Ford. That would make a great place for a Blue Oval Network branded DCFC charging stop proof-of-concept.
