If you’re just getting an order email I don’t think you’re price protected like above poster said. Specifically the email that you get talks about the price protection if you were.I put a deposit down 5/20/21, I can now order, but I thought I read I would get a code to receive a credit for the price change, is this true? I tried a search and couldn’t find anything.
Thank you!!
I'll confirm what the two posts above said, if this is your first invitation to order, your prices will be the ones Ford is offering on the day you place your order your MY2023 Lightning.I put a deposit down 5/20/21, I can now order, but I thought I read I would get a code to receive a credit for the price change, is this true? Yes.So, if I ordered mine on 8-6-22 and the order was confirmed/ accepted by my dealer at that time should I expect to pay the listed price at the time of my order? The reason I ask is that the MSRP and other options have gone up since that date.
Get a signed buyer's order from the dealership listing all costs. That will help protect you against ADM.Yes, for msrp from ford. Ford will honor the price that was posted when you ordered. The dealer, unfortunately, can still put on ADM. They shouldn’t if they want to stay in good standings with Ford but it is a possibility.
There is a question of whether you actually ordered from Ford or the dealer took an order. Those are not the same thing. I suspect if your "order" was not accepted for build by Ford you don't actually have an order yet. Go see what your status is on the Ford website rather than listen to what the dealer tells you.So, if I ordered mine on 8-6-22 and the order was confirmed/ accepted by my dealer at that time should I expect to pay the listed price at the time of my order? Post a copy here and we can check it out to see if it looks right. Please delete the last part of order number, name, address for security purposes. On Ford.Com my accounts it shows an order date of 8-18-22, with an order number. It also shows that the order was sent to dealer and was accepted by dealer. When scrolling down it shows a dealer selling price of $51,564.
Wave 1 for MY23 started 8/11, how did you order 8/6?So, if I ordered mine on 8-6-22 and the order was confirmed/ accepted by my dealer at that time should I expect to pay the listed price at the time of my order? The reason I ask is that the MSRP and other options have gone up since that date.
If you pay the price stated on your order, your dealer should be VERY, VERY happy. You....(like me ) received a private offer that reduces that printed price by $7000.00. Of course you'll have to add tax, title, etc, etc to that $43,000 you owe.I got the date wrong, it's was 8-18-22
