I figure that charger will be in a box in the truck right along with the portable charger. Not without purchase of some sort would Ford ever let it go out early.
I'll go on record and say that this is probably the only year they bundle it. It will become an option. Pure speculation on my part, but I bet it is less than 20% of the buyers every truly hook this up for the backup power to the panel and likely not more than 70% ever even use it for charging. So many panels will never support the 100 amps for full charging and many/most will find they are lucky to squeeze a 50 amp - 14-50 plug out of it to be able to charge using the 32 amps out of the mobile charger or maybe use that 50 amps for direct wire to get 40 amps out of the Charge Station.
