Based on what I have read here on the forums - about 20k people who got a similar email last year have had their orders converted. (Going off how many estimated Lightnings were built.)
I went back to my old emails to see if I had something from last year. There was a similar email in Dec 2021, essentially saying "We (Ford) would be opening order banks soon and there is a long list of people interested."
Ford posted they expect to produce 80K MY23 Lightnings, meaning in the next 12 months they may produce that many, so depending on when you put in your reservation, you may or may not be on the list.
Probably not what you wanted to hear --- My reservation date is May, so I am hopeful, but just hopeful at this point.
