My experience with Electrify America sucks. I’ve had nothing but problems and it’s almost impossible to get ahold of somebody when you do have a problem so I’m starting to post videos of the problem Chargers and maybe someday they will actually look at this.

you're exposing some of the current weaknesses of the 'ev' market, at least for us non-Tesla owners. Until we have CONSISTENT, CONFIDENT, and even CONVENIENT charging options, adoption of EVs will be slow.
You’re right, that is the weakness of EVs. I’ve owned 3 different electric vehicles since 2011. The more electric vehicles on the road the more problems because the infrastructure on the open road has not caught up with the number of vehicles out there. I remember in 2011 I wanted to drive from LA to San Diego knowing I would have to at least charge once. I made it to South Coast Plaza charger with a level two charger and at that time there were no level three. It took me six hours to charge so I spent all the time walking around the shopping center. After the charge I made it to the San Diego Nissan dealer who was such an asshole he would let me plug until I made a big stink. Those were the bad old days compared to now. If you plan on being in large cities, I’m sure you can find charging points but when you’re on the open road with not much of a population and a charging station has one out of four working that’s a problem. If you’re gonna be driving back-and-forth from home to work charging at home is great and cheap. In reality, you’ll never have to spend any time at a gas station again paying those high prices. And remember all the time you’ll save not waiting in line at Costco to fill your tank up once or twice a week. Just think of all the time you will be saving time in the long run.

Thinking about this challenge that EA has and has had for a number of years now. It occurs to me that if leadership in any major corporation today failed to meet the need of a fledgling market, of which you are and have been the number two market share holder for years, that it is one of two things 1) Incompetent Leadership 2) Strategy of some kind.

Nether of which really make sense because I'm sure if the board felt the leadership was incompetent, they'd fire them and give them their golden parachute. The strategy idea doesn't make sense either because this market will boom in the next few years and you would think the goal is to own it. If EA isn't careful, they just might lose their market share to smaller hungry companies that are quietly growing and don't have the equipment and support challenges EA is having.

Just the thoughts of a consumer waiting for a fix or an alternative choice and I don't think the answer is succumbing to Tesla's "generous" offer of the NACS which saves them tons of cash and puts them in line for even more of that good, good government cash that my Tesla friends say that Elon is not a fan of...hmmm, really?
