My 2023 F-150 Lightning had arrived and when I went to pick it up and finalizing the deal, dealer said I need to pay the MSRP listed on the window sticker instead of the MSRP when I placed my order, which is a $5000 difference (I order back in 8/11/2022). I even show them my build sheet submitted to them listed the $5K lower MSRP but they said FORD is no longer honoring this. I call FORD customer number (800) 392-3673 but the customer service person said he has no solution for this and the sales department was closed for the day (or week, it was Friday night) and direct me to call back on Monday (dealer will hold the car for me over the weekend and agreed for me to go back on Monday).

I saw several posts about this from last year and heard that FORD will reimburse the $5K to dealer about a month/45 days after the sales recorded and dealer will write a check (may or may not be $5K) back to the consumer. Is that true still for Jan, 2023? Are there any changes?

For someone went thru this before, how do you get connect to a FORD regional rep to tell the dealer the "instruction"? Much appreciated if you can get me some info before I go back in on Monday to straighten things out. 🙏🙏🙏

If you are talking about the October 5k increase, read this thread from another forum. Take the memo to your dealer...educate the dope.

October Price Increase
Yes, I am talking about this exactly October price increase for Pro (I have PL320 listed on my build sheet (aka DORA) and I also located this sheet from Google. I will bring it along with the price protection Memo and see what happen. I also will call FORD again tomorrow to get some kind of confirmation. Thank you!

I went back to my dealer this morning with all of my information (price protection memo, original build sheet (DORA)), everything good once I ask the sales manager to talk to his regional rep and after I discuss my situation to the regional rep, they agreed that I have price protection, even directly deduct from my purchase price and no need to reimburse after 30/45days. I took deliver with the full private offer and price protection from Aug 2022 build in.

My dealer is Puente Hills FORD in City of Industry, California and my sales associate is Alfonso Alvarez and the General Sales Manager is Adam Smith.
