Drop-in Bed Liner for Pro?

Looking at getting the Pro trim level. Notice that the Ford configurator doesn't offer the Drop-In Liner for the Pro. Wondering if anybody knows why? I would assume there is not a technical reason it won't fit. Hoping I could still obtain the factory liner and not have to get an aftermarket.

I purchased a WeatherTech bed liner for my Lightning Lariat EB and have been very pleased so far. I also purchased WeatherTech floor mats at the same time. See the following:
I have the WeatherTech bed liner as well. It's a little thinner than I hoped. Also, for some reason dried blood seems to bond with the surface and doesn't wash out easily. In general it has been quite good, though.
I doubt that I will be hauling heavy loads in the back of my Lightning. The WeatherTech liner should meet my light-duty needs quite well.

When I got the Lightning, I kept my 2020 F-150 XLT. It gets to haul stuff, including my small travel trailer. It has the factory liner.

PS -- If you're gonna haul dead bodies in the back of your truck, you may need to wrap them up a little better. Leaving physical evidence can get you in trouble. Also, does hauling dead bodies affect your "mileage?" :p :p :p

Not sure I would like the Weather Tech since it doesn't come up the sides. One of the things I haul in my truck is yard waste leaves and clippings and lakeshore cleanup with wet weeds and lots of sand. Getting it all cleaned back out of the truck without having stuff get down between the side of the bed and the liner would be my concern.

I am would also be concerned about the durability and "shovel-ability" of a more flexible mat like the Weather Tech. Seems like a shovel edge would dig into the softer mat and pull it up or dislodge it. Especially in the corners and along the edges.

A hard plastic drop-in liner still seems like the best option for me.
Agree with your assessment. The WeatherTech liner is a waste of your money. Based on your description of what may go in the bed of your truck, you probably need to consider Line-X (or similar). Not cheap, but it will definitely protect the bed of your new truck from just about everything (don't know about blood). :)
So far no appreciable mileage hit. I just have to make sure I'm not carrying more than fit within the bed for aero reasons*. ;)

*My bloody, dead bodies have four hooves and occasionally antlers.
Another reason for having a hard bed cover (Undercover Ultraflex, in my case). :)
