I just plugged up my radar detector and happened to look back at the lightning ( who can resist) and noticed that the radar detector was still powered on. Does the plug have auto off? I went ahead and unplugged it so I wouldn’t go out to a dead 12v batt although im not sure that will drain it.

Yes it does, I'm not sure how long it takes.

Auto off on a timer.
Battery saver would also turn it off if the 12v was getting low.

Last night, I received a plug-in voltmeter to monitor LVB voltage that goes in the 12V socket. It stayed on about 30 minutes after I exited and locked the truck.
