A user noted he made a change to an order and the new print out showed $1795 for delivery. I checked for both Lightning and ICE and it is across the board. Not sure if this happened today or the last few days with some of the other increases.

My online order which does have a build date still reflects my original $1695.

Just got the invitation to order and had my build ready. Just wanted to swing by the dealer first. Build was lariat with max tow only added. Put price just below $80k ($79994). Then updated overnight to $80094. Not a big deal considering the cost. Main worry is tax credit implications. BBB plan has max of $80k. I know it hasn’t passed but could. Thus deleting $7500 tax credit and making me ineligible for $12500 tax credit. All over an extra $100 delivery fee. Making me pause on hitting the order button.

I've seen others note this, I'm not sure what official definitions the Feds would use, but the way I see it - that $1695/1795 is NOT part of the truck price/MSRP. That is a delivery fee. The window sticker shows Base Price, Options, Total Vehicle Price, then lists the Destination and Delivery fee.

I'm sure this could be a major point for many. However, I've seen NOTHING that would indicate BBB or any part of it has any kind of life. I'll take the $7500 and the truck. If you don't order now and BBB never comes to any kind of law you could miss out on even the $7500 based on when you might come up for a 2023.

Yeah it doesn’t look like anything will pass but politics are crazy and who knows what they will push for midterms. Would just be unfortunate to end up losing out on any tax rebate and cost $7500 more than expected if they push something through last minute that makes it ineligible for any rebate. Build says total MSRP with destination added.

I see what it says there, I looked on the window sticker.

Got a little hope up for a second. Then found window stickers and they all say total MSRP with destination added on. But I see where it says total vehicle cost without it. Depends on what they would go off and depends o. If anything really even passes. Guess it’s all just a bunch of what ifs running through my head when I should just calm down and purchase it already.

Agree with the last 3 posts - at this time BBB would benefit Tesla as much or more than anyone but giving a credit to them. But it is really focused on the other guys and the unions, so nothing will happen until they are out and visit Joe again.
