Salesman called to let me know my truck arrived.
Texted me after he inspected it and sent me pictures of front end damage.
I know the dealer will fix it, but doesn't that show up on the CarFax and devalue my truck?

Hey @mmeswarb, stuff like that shouldn't appear on your CarFax. I don't think the damage is big enough where that would be necessary.

Has the dealer told you how long it'll be to fix? What kind of Lightning did you order?

Make sure that sensor has been checked or re-calibtrated, if required.

Carfax is a scam. We traded a car in with carfax accident history which dealer found and we agreed been in accident. Week later dealer has car for sale with "clean carfax"

That sounds like a dirty dealer not a carfax issue.

Two scratches outlined with making tape. One scratch is too deep to buff out, so dealer is taking it to a paint shop. Decals are superimposed. Just experimenting with different ideas.
