Can you tell us what you ordered? SR/ER - any additional options that might cause the delay other than the basic truck? Power Running Boards? Bed Liner? etc.

Sure thing, only options were Bed Liner (my initial thoughts for delay) and Ford Copilot Active. Ordered in smoked quartz as well but I doubt delays over color choice lol

Standard Range? There are others scheduled that noted they had Bed Liners and the ER have CoPilot standard, so it is interesting, unless it is basic parts now starting to delay the trucks. There was a posting today that noted Ford has 37 suppliers that are not delivering parts right now. We may not see any more scheduled for a while. It'll be interesting to see how many others received the email and what their builds are.

Looking on other forums, seems like most got it. Even those with scheduled production dates and even those that had ICE build dates within the next few weeks. Email in error maybe?

Yep - mine email just came as well - timestamp of 9:53 - so 3 minutes ago. Lariat Extended Range with Max Tow and AT tires only options. Checked my account and still showing the same build week - 5/23/2022 - so will see if they update that now over the next bit of time, but for now I've also received the email.

They've had bad emails come out before, so it will be interesting to see what comes of this.

I also received this email. I ordered a Lariat Iced Blue Silver, 511A package with max tow, upgraded floor mats, All terrain tires and bed liner. I get the feeling this email may have went to more people than FORD intended. Not saying mine won’t be delayed but my production week is 5/16 and nothing has changed there. I’ll reach out to my dealer and see if he can find out any more info. If it is a delay associated with the bed liner, I wonder if there’s any way to remove that option so that production could continue without delay.

I received the same message for my Iced Blue Silver Lariat, Extended Range with Max Tow package. Order still shows 5/16 though.

Same here. No options other than 511A. Lariat ER. Still shows 5/23 week for now. Ugh! If it delays, may have to hope for the Bronco to come through. Was thinking not to get it if I got the lightning on time.

Same. Just got the email. Lariat ER, Max tow, Smoked Quartz Metallic. But the web site still says production scheduled for 5/16. There have been a lot of email shenanigans lately.....

I got the same email: Lariat ER with NO factory bedliner (local provider doing the spray in). Only option was the all weather floor mats. AM Blue for color...so I think this is an across the board thing. My order (Wave 2) still says week of 5/2 build and my Ford Order Tracker (with the dealer 4 digit order# and VIN) looks the same.

Another one, same message, but nothing changed in my order on their website, so no clue what caused the delay, how long the delay is. E-mails says they'll contact you when ready to put it back in line for production, but my order still shows its schedule for production the same week it has been since it updated to reflect the estimated production date. Confusing e-mail with no details or clarification.
I guess this ordering process is new to Ford since historically, sales have always been through dealers. Ford appears to be fumbling with this process just like any of the other new companies. Read that several had their production dates pushed up to earlier dates. Had been hoping for the same. This is the opposite, but order status on website shows nothing new.
I am so over this new process of having to order cars 1, 2 or 3 years out, then wait, wait, wait for them. I now understand why the Used Car market has become so attractive and prices have gone up.

My buddy brought it to my attention and we’re both same as others. Interesting however, he got a delay email for his Bronco also last night… which is already at the dealer getting a lift and tires installed. So I’d say it’s not only a mass email, but one that should have sent before our scheduled dates hit. Just my .02
