Reserved a no-frills Pro 8/6/21, #11134522. Called in by the Dealership to convert reservation to an order 1/8/22. Thought it was a done deal but the ford.com website hasn't moved since 5/14/22. Called the dealership, they said only one order got through to Ford, stating 'Ford has taken all ordering over from the dealerships'. When I went in to order I was sat down at a terminal and told to 'configure your F150'. They printed the configuration, stapled a couple business cards to the documents, and I haven't heard anything from them since (until I called and got the news I really hadn't ordered the truck). Bummer, told I'd probably be in line for a 2023 and MIGHT get it in 2024. Can't edit the reservation list to erase the order date - can an Admin do that?

Based on everything you said, it sounds like you didn't actually place an order. It sounds like you maybe configured one to eventually order, but your build order was never actually real (i.e., you're still waiting in line with 95% of us).

The link works, I'm taken to a 'Margaret - It's time to order your new 2022 F-150 lightning from West Hills Ford'. My wife (Margaret) started the initial plunge. I've contacted the dealership, being told 'Ford has taken all ordering from the dealerships'. No where on the page (that the link takes me to) is the abiltiy to 'place order'. Joeclark38 nailed it, I'm with the 95% of everyone else in line. Now I'm wondering how many will get their truck in time to qualify for the tax break incentive. Another concern... when will Ford change the price due to inflation, materials shortage, and demand? The 89 F250 heavy duty 4x4 crew cab (460 cu in) makes for a spendy trailer tow/materials hauler.

Others on here may know better than I do, but it looks like somebody at the dealer dropped the ball and that you may have been eligible to order a 2022 Lightning but it did not get converted to an accepted order. All the 2022 production/order balancing has occurred. I would call Ford and be looking at Margaret's order page–"Margaret - It's time to order your new 2022 F-150 lightning from West Hills Ford". (I edited your reservation number out of that link)

I called as suggested, spoke with 'Alex'. He said expect to receive an invite from Ford corporate to convert a reservation to order this summer, most likely for a 2023 with a POSSIBLE delivery mid to late 2023. He's under the impression (and I'd like to know) if anybody else with just a reservation that does a scrape and paste of <https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=> with their reservation number pasted immediately following the = sign that a 'prefilled' page is displayed with the "NAME - It's time to order your new 2022 F-150 lightning from DEALERSHIP". I'm good with the order/delivery dates with a VERY BIG hope that EVs continue with the tax break for 2023. This years 2022 tax break is a ground mount PV 16.7 KW system qualifying for a 26% of the total cost deducted from the 2022 tax liability. Thank you, Voltz. I probably wouldn't have called the Lightning team.

This almost happened to me as well. I went in to the dealer placed my Lariat order. Nothing updated on the ford website for like 2 weeks. Me sales girl called me stating she screwed it up. I had to follow the link in my original e mail to order online. This would submit it to the de4alr to submit to ford. I feel like we know more about the truck and processes than the dealers do.

if you reserved in August 2021, my guess is that you’d be pretty far down the line since reservations opened up in May 2021.
