Looking for some advise. Have a reservation with a local Ford dealer, and the dealership changed ownership last month. About a week ago, I got an email from Ford saying that my reservation was being refunded and I should contact the dealer for further updates. Since then, the reservation has gone missing from myford account. Dealer says they I will get a chance to order "by the end of the month" but that doesn't line-up with what I am hearing from others. Anybody else have this problem?

I had something similar happen. Ownership changed and I was refunded my reservation, which did freak me out. The dealer told me not to worry but like you I worried.

In the end, my reservation actually came back about a month later. But I still have not been converted to order yet I trust that all is well. Which honestly is all you can do since we are that the mercy of the dealership. At the end of the day they want to sell you a truck, you just have to trust they didnt do anything stupid.
