Hello all,

I'm curious, are your dealership charging over MSRP for the Lightning? It appears that the majority of the ones I called are charging between 5 and 15%.

I have seen markups average around a peak of $10k but there have been dealers that back down from it. Like this one:

Ford recently threatened to withhold pickup trucks from bad actor dealerships.

Thank you for the response! I live in NY and after calling about 20 dealers, I found one not charging over MSRP! It's a shame that people have to do this especially when you could purchase a competitors vehicle online without a dealer.

Yeah it's nuts how hard it can be finding a dealer that isn't scummy. But that's good to hear you did find one! Which Lightning model are you looking to get?

Sure is! As long as the tax incentive is still available, probably the Lariat with the extended range battery. If not, then I'll go with the Rivian R1T.

My dealer is charging MSRP with no additional charges, it's Holman Ford in Turnersville NJ. They're located in south Jersey about 20 minutes or so from Philly. They have been helpful answering all of my questions every since I placed my reservation.
