Ordered truck in February, June 11 Blend date, Lariat ER Ice Blue Silver. Located in Texas.

Discussed ADM at Order. no ADM on build sheet and thought I was good (Dumb in hindsight not getting it in writing).
That sales rep is now gone from dealer and the new rep I spoke to on the phone stated that they hadn't decided on how much to mark up MY truck yet.

Any one have experience fighting this kind of last minute ADM, numbers to reach out to Ford etc. Any legal recourse I have to fight this etc. My truck arrives in the Next 2 week and don't want to walk away after waiting over a year from pre ordering it.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: 7/29 – took delivery yesterday. I am the second truck they delivered. No ADM thank goodness, they wanted to add a bunch of extras though, low jack, Scotch guard, service plans ETC. I was able to haggle that down to a tonneau cover (something I actually want).

Thanks to every one for their in put and help.

Do you have screenshots of your Ford Account order page? If not, you may be able to get some showing the price before the dealer goes in and adds the ADM. Click on the E24 for info and hope that line still shows zeroes.

I have the original Build sheet with order number and price at time of build no ADM. Rep today said "you can't put an ADM on the build sheet" which is false.

Concentrate on E20 and E24. The only recourse may be through your state attorney-general. Make them hold onto the truck until they threaten to sell it out from under you, don't say no. Maybe tell them that you will be willing to sign a one year no sale agreement. That's Ford's answer to flipping, not ADM on ordered trucks. The dealer has the upper hand, though.

To get directly to your reservation page that I am referring to, add your RESERVATION number to the end of this URL after the = sign. It's an eight digit number and will be on your original email and probably a whole lot of others.

When I entered my order on the Ford website, I chose a dealer with no ADM over other dealers who had ADM. The order when I entered it on the website showed no ADM. The dealer subsequently accepted the order with no ADM. Here in New Jersey, the dealer would be in trouble under the consumer fraud act for not complying with the contract. Not sure about Texas.

We have the Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Which should cover this situation. So far no word back from the dealer about how much they want to add for ADM. I suspect they are gonna try to run out the clock to delivery.

I think the order is accepted when the dealer writes the order up and submits it to Ford. Thinking that if there is no signed paperwork nothings a given. FORD is not really doing anything for ADM unless it's crazy high and gets publicity. Same way dealers have already said they would sell their demo's for more then the supposed penalty from Ford would be.
My dealer made me put down an additional $500 when I signed the order form, and changed the ADM twice. Which are two things that were directly covered in the letters from Jim Farley and Andrew Frick. When I questioned this, a Rep from Ford called me and said they spoke to the dealer and the ADM seems to be minimal ($3500) so if there is another issues you can always call me back.
Tempted to see if paying cash for the truck if a dealer will be a big enough dirt bag to enforce the dealer's no sell policy!!
