If you spend any time on any of the car sites - cars.com, true, Autotrader etc - there is a huge price difference in listed, available Lightnings between Southern states the northeast. The absolute lowest you'll see for a Pro in the South - North Carolina, and farther south - is high 50s and probably low 60s. but dealers in PA, NJ, MA and even ME have identical trucks listed for low 50s and even high 40s.
more or less identical trucks, on the lot.
i assumed it was a few Northern dealers listing it below their actual 'asking' price but it seems too widespread for that. and you don't see those numbers, ever, among Southern dealers, which - take my word for it - is NOT because they are more honest or trustworthy than their northern peers.
Would like to hear from anyone with dealer/industry insights.
