If you spend any time on any of the car sites - cars.com, true, Autotrader etc - there is a huge price difference in listed, available Lightnings between Southern states the northeast. The absolute lowest you'll see for a Pro in the South - North Carolina, and farther south - is high 50s and probably low 60s. but dealers in PA, NJ, MA and even ME have identical trucks listed for low 50s and even high 40s.

more or less identical trucks, on the lot.

i assumed it was a few Northern dealers listing it below their actual 'asking' price but it seems too widespread for that. and you don't see those numbers, ever, among Southern dealers, which - take my word for it - is NOT because they are more honest or trustworthy than their northern peers.

Would like to hear from anyone with dealer/industry insights.

I have flown to Alabama and Tennessee in the past to buy vehicles because of this trend. Maybe less wealth, less demand for high end vehicles.

The smart buyer shops around.

Are the dealers in the NE actually selling for those prices? Every time I message one, they say it is not for sale. I'd consider buying a plane ticket if I could find one for those prices because there sure aren't any here in Mississippi.

22 Lariat ER w/ 2000 miles for 76
23 Pro for 47.5 - this one is ok
