So I just stopped by my dealer to talk about order process, ADM, etc. and he said that the dealership has signed an agreement with Ford to charge MRSP for all orders. Anyone else heard about this, not sure if it is true or just the sales story...
Perhaps they are talking about this new agreement? So I just stopped by my dealer to talk about order process, ADM, etc. and he said that the dealership has signed an agreement with Ford to charge MRSP for all orders. Anyone else heard about this, not sure if it is true or just the sales story...
The dealer did say they are opting in to the new EV dealer model described in the link so perhaps there is something there. Basically said they are doing MSRP for ordered vehicles but are going to mark up their demo and any inventory from orders that people back-out of.Perhaps they are talking about this new agreement?

Ford Gives Dealers Six Weeks To Decide If They Want To...
Ford just made a bold move towards the push for electrification. https://insideevs.com/news/610114/ford-modele-dealership-rules/ "In short, Ford is telling its dealer network they have to invest, evolve, improve, and offer new services if they want to be a Model E dealership and sell electric...www.lightningowners.com
I encourage you to get a signed buyer's order that states the exact amount they will sell the truck for.
I posted a bit about it on another thread. I called Ford and they can tell you if you qualify and gave me a code to give the dealer to be able to add the Private Offer reduction. Ford also stated there is an expiration date on the code (mine is January 2023) but as long as you get the truck before than you shouldn’t have an issue. The rep even said if you expect the purchase agreement to do completely after the expiration date or can ask your dealer if they will still honor the Private Offer. Here’s a question. I ordered my XLT last month. All pricing shown is 2023. I showed them the email stating I’m available to get 2022 pricing. My salesman said Ford will send me a coupon to bring the price down from the 2023 pricing on my paperwork to 2022 pricing. Has anyone heard this? I’m going to call Ford about this to see if I can get an answer too.
Thank you! I’ll call them and get the code. You just provided some serious relief. I thought maybe my dealer was tried to pull a fast one.I posted a bit about it on another thread. Yes, the dealer my order was assigned to said the same thing. The foot dragged and were really tough to deal with, made up absurd hoops for me to jump through, in the end I called Ford directly...so yes, call Ford and have your order number ready. It finally broke the logjam for me, but still so much nonsense with dealer. Check every single number and demand to see the window sticker before you sign anything. I was not shown mine and the Dealer slipped stuff by me. As soon as I receive my title, I intend to make Ford aware of the impossible situation that this dealer set me.Here’s a question.
