So I'm waiting for my truck - very excited. I went on our local car selling site just to see if there are any Lightnings out there for sale. I end up seeing a listing that looks interesting. I go into it and the VIN in the add is the VIN that FORD sent me for my Truck! WTF. Ford.com still says mine is in production this week!

It says Lariat in the title, but the pics and writeup are for an XLT and the VIN is the VIN Ford sent me. I've texted the dealer acting like I want to buy it. Let's see where this goes. LOL

I’m pretty sure those dealer websites are automated fed from their inventory system.

Yes, I know my local dealer has this happen also, where at some point in the process the vehicle is automatically added to their inventory/website and they have to then go take it down.

Same here, the VIN was right but the picture associated with it was a generic. It’s technically the dealers until you buy it so it’ll show up on their inventory until you sign and drive it off their lot. No worries.

I’m buying mine through LHMiller in Draper. Same build week as you. Mine is an XLT as well.

They shouldn't do this but it's a common tactic by the sleazier dealers.
