Just picked it up and got home about an hour ago. 22 xlt extended range. In the grey colour I can’t remember what it’s called.
So far it’s looking good. I just hope it fits in the garage of my townhouse. 🤣

Welcome to the Club!

Hope you have a good experience - I picked up my Lariat ER on 1/6/23 and have nearly 12,000 miles on it. Only glitchy issue I had was the day i picked it up the FordPass Connectivity did not work but resolved itself within 24 hours…since then we’ve had no issues. Took it in for 10,000 mile “service” they checked brakes and rotated tires and no issues. Alignment still straight as an arrow and my tires have minimal wear and are wearing evenly.

Overall - very pleased with this machine. Hope you experience the same.

thanks!
Glad you’re having a good experience with it as well. So far so good I am really liking it. Except for how tight of a fit into the garage it is. But other than that. Nice! Now I just gotta get on my strata on answering my question of can I install a charger here or not.

Yes - the garage is a tight fit - after 4 months I am still figuring out how far I can pull in so I can squeeze between my workbench and the front of the truck without wiping the bugs onto my clothes - lol!

🤣 last night I accidentally dragged our garbage can outside and dumped it at the garage door. 🤷‍♂️ I dunno how that happened lol. Can was blocking the photo eye of the garage door opener/closer so the whole time I was gone the door didn’t close.

I used a rubber curb(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008EM5RQI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). First fixed in position with duct tape. After using it for a month or so and knowing it was in the desired position, I used hot melt glue to fix more securely.

I was thinking of adding one of those under the tailgate light strips that plug into the trailer plug. If I do this does the truck automatically think it’s towing?

that’s a great question and I am unsure on the answer - sorry!

Good looking tires - let us know about how they sound and if you think your efficiency is impacted in any meaningful way.
There’s a bit of howl. Definitely louder then stock tires as I don’t remember hearing those tires but there is a noticeable difference with these noise wise. Range wise I’m not sure yet. I think it’s taken a hit tho.
I'm new to this forum, just got my 22 Lightning ER in February 2023.
I'm looking to hear from anyone who has installed the Ford Intelligent power system either from Sunrun or a third party.
Is there already a thread on this topic?
Yes several.

I think the consensus is that you might be better off installing a gfci transfer switch with 30A generator kit and using pro power on board. Way cheaper, and would let you use a generator to power your house while you drive the truck.

Agreed! I can't do an interlock plate as I have a double main switch 200 amp panel setup! So its a transfer switch for me.
