Just a question. When your cruise and lane keep are off. If you are driving at speed, when you turn on the cruise does it also engage the lane keeping without you pushing the lane keep button?

is your basic question referring to LANE KEEPING ALERT/CONTROL, or are you referring to the Lane CENTERING? These are two different things.

A) Lane KEEPING is a helpful SAFETY feature that either Alerts you to straying from the lane, with an Alert, buzz of the Steering Wheel, or even HELP in steering back into the lane. You set this to your comfort need.

B) Lane CENTERING is a DRIVING Feature, and not part of every trim level. It is to keep the vehicle Centered in the lane while on Cruise Control, but does NOT work while outside of Cruise Control... meaning that it automatically Activates if you have it 'ON', and then set the Cruise Control, but otherwise it remains inactive, even if 'ON'. This way you don't have to set TWO controls when you activate Cruise Control, where most drivers want both to be active.
If you turn the Lane Control button 'OFF', then you won't have this automated steering Lane Centering active, even when on Cruise Control - you will steer as you normally would.
This 'ON' button, though, does NOT control Lane Keeping - that is something you set within SETTINGS on the Center screen, and define how you want it to act, whether an Alert only, a Steering Wheel alert(buzz/shake), or BOTH, and also whether you want the vehicle to ADJUST you back into the lane(some might call this Lane Bouncing, or Ping Ponging).
It actually works pretty well, even when it takes you by surprise after you've turned off Lane CENTERING, and thinking that it would no longer assist you - if you have it active within your Settings, it WILL continue, no matter whether you have Lane CENTERING on, or not.

1) Lane KEEPING, a SAFETY feature, is determined/customized with SETTINGS on the Center screen, and is ALWAYS active, if so.

2) Lane CENTERING is a DRIVING Feature, and has it's own steering wheel BUTTON to turn it 'ON', ready to be used.

3) Lane CENTERING is ONLY Activated when the Cruise Control is ACTIVATED/Set.

4) but, you can then turn Lane CENTERING off, with the button, even if you continue with Cruise Control, as well as re-activate it with the same button, as long as Cruise Control is still active, etc.

Now, others can contribute to this information, if their's works differently, as my '22 PRO SR did NOT come with Active LANE CENTERING/Adaptive Cruise Control. I added this radar, wiring harness, and software changes several months LATER, myself, DIY.
It works WONDERFULLY, and I even use a simple 1lb wrist-weight velcroed around the steering wheel, to act even better than 'BlueCruise', for hundreds of miles, whether on interstates, or country roads - it works everywhere.

ONE thing I miss, though, with the DIY addition of this feature, is the additional 'Following Distance' control button, as factory-built trucks will have, but, it defaults to a comfortable distance that suits my driving just fine, maybe 100' from the vehicle ahead.
This also works to bring the truck to a full stop, when required, within about 20' behind the lead vehicle, and resumes moving, within a certain time frame, such as when the lead vehicle moves from a stop light.
