I remember when I got my current F150 truck, they had just released Sync and it blew my frigging mind. the integrated talk and respond thing, the seamless Bluetooth, which was awkward with previous cars, etc. But I never dug into it, and 13 years later I still haven’t read the tech book and know there are thing I havent found or discovered.
now that you guys have been driving the lightnings for a while, what are some hidden tech gems or vehicle features that weren’t widely advertised. Anything on ‘page 8’ kor catch you off guard?

Alexa for me!! while I use CarPlay, Alexa is a much better assistant and the best in the industry....it's awesome to tell Alexa to put on my house alarm, or control my smart house from inside....'Alexa open my garage door' 'Alexa I am arriving home' 'Alexa I am arriving at the cottage' - so many things to do...

only sad thing though is that ford + Alexa is not a thing in Canada...

I think I was too saturated by how many reviewer videos I watched and so I don't think anything was a surprise. But I will say once I did get it and started driving and living with it, the comfort of the ride, space of the interior and the amount of cabin pockets/storage have been my favorite things. But those are truck things and something I've been craving.

After looking at the reservation dates on the lightning reservation tracking list (which isn't everyone) and seeing how many people got theirs ordered before me, even though my reservation date was earlier, I'm thinking about not ordering one now. Especially with the price increase . . . .pisses me off. If Ford wanted to spread them around the country fine but don't up the price on those who have been waiting for some time. Need to look at other options.

The Frunk is clutch. Waterproof and easily big enough to fit my golf clubs with plenty of room for other sports gear. Also, just got back from a football game. Was able to power a tailgate with a few TV's, speakers, chargers etc for 10 hours. Only lost 3 miles of range.

I think that is a little low. $8000 price increase, $7500 tax credit, plus rapid red and a couple of other things and the 7% tax on the increases = about $18,000.

$19,200 over the similarly equipped hybrid f150.

There are sensors or heating elements in the receiving gaskets for the edges of the frunk lid along the fenders parallel to the frunk opening.
