I had this a few weeks ago. Started a chat in ford pass app. They escalated to engineering and it magically fixed itself in about an hour.
Well I hope that is my case. It being Sunday and ford pass being closed let’s cross our fingers for a Monday resolution.I had this a few weeks ago. Started a chat in ford pass app. They escalated to engineering and it magically fixed itself in about an hour.
Can you access your FordPass app at all? Can you sign in to your Ford account online? My 23 Lariat was delivered 2 weeks ago. Everything has been smooth up until the 24th. As of that date, nothing updated in my Fordpass app. Couldn’t see charge status, location, PAAK, etc…
I went into Settings>Connected Services> but nothing shows up when clicking the menu. In fact, I get pop up stating Connected Services unavailable at this time and to try again later. If problem persists, contact your dealer.
I tried a factory reset with no luck. Call Fordpass help and they had me turn off Bluetooth, wifi etc….and then restart truck. From there logout and delete the truck from the app. Then add the truck back to app.
Unfortunately, no luck. Can’t activate Fordpass and still getting the same message when trying to goto the Connected Services menu to ensure everything is turned on.
I have a case open with Fordpass and am waiting a call back.
Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what the fix was. We’re you able to do on your own?
Yes I can get in the fordpass app and add the vehicle. Can’t activate it though….that’s the current hangupCan you access your FordPass app at all? Can you sign in to your Ford account online?
If the answer to both is no, are you seeing error code CSIAH0320E?
If so, see: Error Code CSIAH0320E Using FordPass (possibly with NG...
You are probably running an app or signed up with a service that uses an unapproved API that has caused you to be locked out.

Yes - shows the vehicle only. When clicking Connected Services it populates they aren’t activated in the vehicle and I need to go to the menu to ensure they are enabled. Can you access your account on the Ford website?
I’m in the exact same boat as you were, except I even brought my truck to the dealer to have the modem reset. They did, and the tech was able to activate the truck using his phone, but then when they turned the truck back over to me, no luck.UPDATE!
I noticed what appeared to be a comms icon on the upper right side of the 15” display. I then opened the FordPass app and saw “Modem Active” status. It still would not activate so checked support articles and found a method for doing a FordPass master reset and went through those steps. After that completed I was able to fully Activate.
Hope this helps - link to a video:I’m in the exact same boat as you were, except I even brought my truck to the dealer to have the modem reset. They did, and the tech was able to activate the truck using his phone, but then when they turned the truck back over to me, no luck.
Do you happen to have the link(s) to the FordPass Master Reset steps? All I can find online is related to Sync 3.
Thanks in advance!
So maybe just by me asking the question, Ford decided to somehow miraculously enable my modem, as when I got in the truck this morning, suddenly Connected Services was available. But thanks for the link, and I'll keep it on hand incase I need it in the future!Hope this helps - link to a video:

The long in-between updates happens frequently for me. Mine shows 17 hours right now, "Bluetooth disconnected"; truck is plugged in not charging. I've always assumed that it had something to do with the truck in deep sleep and whether you're communicating via Bluetooth or WiFi via internet. It will usually wake up from a swipe down on the FordPass app–eventually (iOS 16.3/FP 4.23.2/Truck 4.1.2). Adding departure times, etc. always seem to take many spins of the Ford Blue Circle swirly.Yesterday morning noticed my info in the FordPass app didn’t update for about 12hrs or so.
Privacy reasons huh?My services work fine. But for privacy reasons I like to turn the telematics off in the connectivity menu and turn it on occasionally to check for updates, or if I want to use the Ford trip planning. My issue is that the connectivity menu won’t expand and display the options. It just shows the connecting screen and then nothing happens. Sometime I can click it on and off several time and then spontaneously it will take a few seconds longer and the sub-screen populates, but there seems to be not pattern. So far tonight I’ve spent 10 minutes trying to access the menu and I can’t get it to pull up. I’ve done the reboot to no avail but I’m not ready to do the full reset and lose all my settings.
Same thing I do with my truck. It’s off when not in use.Privacy reasons huh?
What techniques do you use with your cell phone?
