I might be loosing my mind but.... I have a Avalanche colored Lightning and I swear the truck on the splash screen and the center screen matched my truck color until I had to reset and disconnect the battery to resolve the FordPass modem issue. Now it is blue. I did see on a search of forums that the color changes when the different modes are selected but I swear my truck color on my screen matched my truck before I had to do the hard reset. Anyone know anything about this? I did a search on this forum but didn't find the answer. Thanks

Out of curiosity what settings do you need to redo once you do a hard reset? Does it lose radio presets, phone pairing etc? I'm going to hard reset mine this weekend and was wondering what I'm in for .

It wasn't that bad. The remote tech had me do a FordPass reset ("All") and do a Factory Reset. They also had me remove the vehicle from my account in FordPass. None of that worked but of course it reset some stuff. When I reactivated the FordPass it prompted me to keep previous settings or delete setting. I selected to keep previous settings. Some setting seemed to come over but some didn't. I had to redo the Phone as a Key Process which included setting passcode and door code. I had to redo the charging settings/locations. I also went through the Settings in the vehicle and put them where I wanted - stuff like rear occupant alert went back to default (on). All in it took 10 min. The only thing I cant figure out is the stupid color of the truck setting. Good luck!

I think the truck goes away completely with 4.1.2. At least I don't recall seeing it.

When I had earlier software versions the color of the truck was usually black or white. I assumed it was a night vs day setting since my truck is red. Occasionally, it would show a Mustang Mach E though so maybe the software was just screwed up.🤷‍♂️

It would be nice if the icon truck matched the truck color but the Sync interfaces seem to use one color for the light screen, another for the dark screen, and everyone gets the same colors on the screens. It's that way on the Mach E as well.
