Not that I would ever cheat on my Lightning - but while fantasizing about driving an EV truck, saw this on the Silverado EV forum.

I hope is not just someone messing with Chapman Chevy (that would be messed up, but funny) and it solves the EV truck market's MSRPs. Apparently Chevy isn't copying Ford's Model E Unit strategy.

Wow! I like it.

They're offering it on the new Equinox, too. With GM, I think dealer size & history with the model matter. You want to know how the dealer stands with regard to order acceptance by GM and allocations for the model. I ordered a Bolt ⚡for my ⚡Lightning from a dealer who is getting orders accepted.

Doesn't appear to be trolling to me. That account posted about the under MSRP to Silverado, Equinox, etc forums. Reasonable and cogent answers to my questions over PM. Nice to have another option if the local dealers start to misbehave, even if Chapman is a 4 day drive away from me... Now I need to ask if they can drop ship lol

Crater Lake Ford in Medford Oregon has sold below MSRP for for years, as they do everything in their power to be a "volume" dealer. They are guaranteeing MSRP for any Lightning orders just like any other vehicle they sell, but in conversations with them they say they will drop below MSRP if too many other dealers start selling at that level. Thinking of some of the pain-at-the-dealer suffered by posters here, I asked if they will accept customers from out of state. They will. Thought I would pass that along if anybody is having trouble finding a reputable dealer.

5% under invoice is well and all, but pretty sure their queue for Mavericks and Broncos are full of people that will be waiting for years to get called up.

The queue will move especially slowly since this is a GM dealership and they won't get any Mavericks or Broncos to deliver.
