It's also part of the J1772 protocol, the truck will never pull more than is negotiated with the EVSE. A standard and common 40A EVSE will only offer 40A (9.6kW). I imagine most home chargers, won't be a full 19kW.

Charging your Ford F-150 Lightning. Everything you need to know, directly from Ford!

The U tube graphic shows the Integrated Inverter hardware required to use the Lightning as a home power backup. Unfortunately if you want to integrate solar panels with the Lightning truck battery this hardware is not available in over 25 states. Sunrun is the only company that can sell it and they won't sell it unless they install the whole system BUT, they don't do business in over half the states so this integrated capability is not available to me in my state. This business decision just doesn't seem right if your goal is to encourage integrated electrical vehicles.
