Yes, most of the Ford dealerships, roughly 2000, have at least one charger mounted outside for general use and charging. They arent the fastest chargers but they are free and a solid option if you need to get to a proper DC fast charger but have run low on range.

Im hoping they add or upgrade them to fast chargers soon even if I have to pay for them I think its a better option than some of the ones located near me. Sadly here in the St. Louis area the charging options are sparse as most of them are older slow chargers. We have only 2 Electrify America charging locations with 4 DC fast chargers at either location. Tesla only has 2 locations as well with 4 and 6 chargers.

I know its partially my issue being more in the Midwest away from large population centers but I was hoping to start seeing more being built alongside big gas stations like Flying J, Circle K, Quicktrips, etc thanks to all the money set aside last year in that 1.6 trillion dollar Infrastructure package. Maybe by next summer there will be more.

many NISSAN, CHEVY, and now FORD dealers will have a/some Level 2 chargers, if they work...

many Nissan dealers have a DC Fast Charger, sometimes FREE, too... again, IF they work.

most Chevy and Ford dealers will only have simple Level 2's, but it's o.k. in a pinch.

You'd be surprised, also, that some cities have Level 2 chargers, and others also DC Fast Chargers, like Rome, GA...usually hosted by Georgia Power/ CHargePoint, etc.

Utility companies sometimes have both... it makes sense.
