I just plugged my truck up for the night and I had the truck locked with the key fob in my house when I did. The truck is charging but the blue indicating light that typically shows current charge and the blinking light to confirm the truck is charging, is not lightning up at all. When I click it, the white lights circle around but no blue ever shows up. The truck was at 39% charge when I first plugged in and I unlocked the truck with the key fob and everything inside the truck confirmed the truck was charging and expected to reach 80% by 6 AM. The FORD pass app also shows the truck charging and just changed from 39% to 40% so I know the truck is taking a charge. Is the reason the charging indicator is not lighting up because I started the charge when the truck was locked?

I think there's a setting under "lighting" in the truck settings menu that lets you turn off the charge port light. I'd start there.

Have you set up a preferred charging schedule at your home? If so, might it have been awaiting the schedule?

Out of curiosity, did the truck charge by the next morning?

I do have the preferred charging schedule set up and the truck did charge to its normal 80% by the next morning. I went into the access settings and did find that the charging access port light option was off somehow? It’s always been on and I didn’t turn it off at any point since the last charge so weird it somehow turned off. So should be fixed now but haven’t plugged in to see. I also seen where my truck update failed last night. Anyone know why the update would fail with the truck sitting in my garage connected to wifi and not being interfered with (update was scheduled for 3AM last night)

Sometimes PowerUps fail for no apparent reason. Follow the steps in this post:
make sure you drive your truck and have at least a 50% charge by the time the update runs.
