Has anyone had experience with the Ford Pro AC Charging Station? The 19.2 kw one. My work just installed 2 and both have flashing red lights. I couldn’t find a manual for them.

Please note that there are multiple threads on issues installing the Ford Charge Station Pro. Hopefully they will be helpful.

My 80 amp charger is installed now for couple weeks. The charger it can only charge the Lightning. The charger cannot find FordPass and vice versa. I have a blue light but no connection to my FordPass app or the truck when I tried to connect the charger.
That is a Ford problem. Anyone else with a similar issue?

Do you mean you have tried charging a different EV and it won't work?

It will work with my MME. What I was referring too is that the 80amp charger cannot find the truck or communicate with FordPass app on my phone, neither the FordPass or the Lightning can find the charger. 20ft apart.
I will try the Ford Charger services tonight. I got their number but I have to be next to the charger for the troubleshooting to occur. Hopefully it goes well. More on that later.

Here's a new one... Really the first issue with the CSP since I set up in June. When I go to look at my CSP in FordPass, it cycles and I can briefly see my settings page were you have the details on output settings, etc. then it goes to the screen below.

The CSP still shows in my network devices and I can ping it. I did a full reset for good measure but no luck with accessing the settings page. Logged in and out of FordPass and the usual processes.

Someone else who has issues with the Ford Pro Charger. If you have another charger in your home and FordPass can't find the 80 amp wallbox, try deactivating the other charger by pulling the C/B.
Start the process again from FordPass.
I had issues with mine also. You need to shutdown the other charger in order for FordPass to find it. That's how mine finally found the charger. I will also get with Ford, open a case #, so they can help you with the Siemens wallbox. My issues took 3 months, but at the end Ford did help me to the end to resolve and correct the issues I had.
You have to be patient. Nothing happens at the speed of sound though.
In the meantime, the wallbox will charge the truck and another EV at a higher amperage.

This just started for me also. Was working fine yesterday. I'll give it a day or two before j try to figure out what's going on, but definitely annoying.

Yep. Seems to be a software/app issue as the connection is stable with the CSP. Not a big issue as the info you get from the CSP is pretty limited. Don't really need to know my KWs used as it is too late at that point.

We also charge my wife's Ioniq 5 with the CSP, so basically it is our EV home gas station. Only using it as we gave our Grizzl-E Classic to my daughter...

I had an issue with it last week where it wasn't refreshing its lease on my network, a power cycle and IP reservation has taken care of that so far. Same thing it shows up with stable connection, truck charges fine. Thinking it will clear up in a bit.

Mine too just this morning. I actually did a factory reset and power cycle but took overnite to restore the settings page in FordPass.

Thanks for everyones input. I guess the advice is wait or try a power cycle.
I did nothing but wait, guessing server issue of some sort on ford side. I am slowly learning that many of the glitches I notice are very temporary, and often it's better to wait a day or two before reseting/troubleshooting. It can be annoying, but I am hoping that it's a sign that Ford is constantly working on making things better.

I think they are making improvements. I've had no issues with the OTAs and even the FORscan changes I made like matrix headlights. I think the basics are good for Ford EVs.

My wife drives a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited and it is interesting to see the different approaches of the companies. Hyundai has a very solid platform but is just going to OTA updates now. Previous it has been a USB drive you DIY (which worked). Big updates like the recent Battery Preconditioning for road trips required a visit to the dealer.

We have 15k miles on the Lightning and 12k on the Ioniq 5 (all since February 9 when we picked up the Ioniq), so we've had a lot of miles to see pros and cons.

Has anyone seen that you can connect to the Ford Charger Pro (at least it says it can connect) but when you save the max current setting it gives an error message that it failed to save? Also when you go and show your charger (upper right corner in your account) I get a red triangle with an explanation point inside it? Thanks
PS - the charger has the Sunrun backup power connected.

Yes, when the red triangle shows up it isn't connected. Mine has done that a few times, usually goes away within a day or so. When it's blue the power adjustment works.

Ok - thanks - so how do I get it to reconnect? Or is this another call to Ford (rebooting the charger is a real hassle as you not only have to power down but you have to take the cover off to pull the back battery supply).

Mine has always just reconnected after a day or two. I agree that rebooting the charger is a real hassle, I actually put a toggle switch in on the power from the dark start to the inverter while i was troubleshooting it.
Are you able to look at a client list on your router? I did have an issue earlier where the device would show up but wasn't requesting an IP, so I did the full restart and gave it an IP reservation, haven't seen that happen again since, but I have seen it go offline for a bit. With the HIS and the FCSP I have learned that just leaving things alone for a day or two often results in problem going away.
Are you able to see it on your local network in the Charge Station Pro Setup App?

Open the 100 amp C/B for the wallbox. Wait 2 minutes. Open your FordPass, go to Account page, find the Connect to Charger, push the tile.
Close the 100 amp C/B. Wait at least 10 minutes or until the Blue or Green LED comes on steady.you
In your FordPass app and Find Charger, will prompt you to have the Ford Power Pro app installed and it will open it. Then select Setting Up New Charger. It may ask again for the access code of the wallbox.
Then you wait to see what it needs to proceed.
If it cannot find the wallbox, it will tell you why, such as....cannot connect to the internet. You may have to have your WiFi code ready also.
If you have issues, such as.... can't connect to the internet....then take a screenshot and call Ford Customer Service and Support. Intricate that is your wallbox having issues connecting.
The Tech Support people will be able to find your charger..thru your FordPass account if it is connecting with the internet. Once they see that your charger is connecting, they will call Siemens to see if their servers are connecting with your charger.
The process will be slow. Be patient, it may be a 10 minute process or a few days. My ordeal took 3 months. It had a happy ending. Mine was more involved. From access codes to finding my Charge Point charger and not the Ford Power Pro Charger. Many resets.....yes taking the inner cover off many times, to trying different access codes.
