Actually, same charge port but I'd far prefer to with a charger under 50 amps for the car.

Out of curiosity, what is the reasoning? The car determines the charging rate. Additionally, the FCSP can easily be de-rated to match circiut.

IIRC the i3 has a 7.7 kW onboard charger. It won’t charge any faster than that no matter what EVSE you use to supply power.
