I have a late reservation date so am probably down the line for when I am able to order. After various conversations with the dealer assuring me that there was no mark up, they are now marking the truck up about $25,000. I was also told that if I wasn't willing to pay a markup, I should just take my deposit back. So obviously I will be switching dealers. Should I do it now or wait until the invitation to build? I have no idea where in line I was with this dealer and now they probably even moved me to the back of the list. This forum has been a great help as I was able to sift through their lies.

The good news is dealers are not supposed to be able to move you back in their queue. Their opportunity to move folks up (not down) in the queue was in December.

I found a dealer that has no mark up. Is there a reason I should wait to change? I know it was said to do it at invite.
Two reasons:
1. Where will you be in the new dealer's queue?
2. How many Lightnings has the new dealer received vs. the old dealer?

If you will be high on the list of a dealer receiving more trucks already, it may move you up. However, if you are high on the old dealer's list you might get called sooner.

When did you reserve?

We reserved in October so are late to the party. Original dealer wouldn’t give an information as to where we were. I am sure they won give us any information now, either. I will talk with new dealer to see if they will give any information.
